音乐，不仅仅作为娱乐而出现在人们的社会生活中，从社会学的角度来说，也在一定程度上体现了社会的发展。本文通过对音乐的产生与各个时代音乐的分析，来说明中国社会的发展趋势及其时代特征，并指出文化在社会发展中的作用。
