Abstract:

The authors in this paper propose to build a NS2 + MyEvalvid simulation platform for the purpose of qualitative evaluation of a video signal which emerge through the network transmission. The paper also emphasizes on feature extraction using Least squares support vector machine method to establish no-reference network packet loss video quality assessment model based on LS-SVM. The experimental results show that LS-SVM's training speed is fast and the proposed model displays greater level of accuracy than the other models.
