Abstract:

To enhance the stability of the Trusted Platform, by analyzing the TPM security chip and the credible chain, this paper proposed a failure recovery for Trusted Platform based on the USB-Key. This recovery mechanism is pre-stored the corresponding restore data in the USB-Key. If Trusted Platform failure, the Trusted Platform will call the reading data module to read the USB-Key's restore data. In the process of Trusted Platform reading the recovery data, USB-Key needs to verify the legitimacy of the reading module. By analyzing this mechanism, the time cost of Trusted Platform failure recovery, which used this mechanism, is significantly shorter than the normal platform recovery. This recovery mechanism plays a better role in Trusted Platform's promotion.
