Human　society　is　experiencing　information　explosion.　Consequently,　university　students,　with　great　curiosity　and　thirst　for　knowledge,　have　been　overwhelmed　with　massive　information.　Statistics　shows　that　university　students　spent　2/3　of　their　time　in　the　student　community,　where　they　gather　and　communicate　with　each　other.　In　some　sense,　the　student　community　has　become　a　＂hot　spot＂　for　students　to　satisfy　their　needs.　Consequently,　these　issues,　like　enhancing　their　information　literacy,　developing　their　ability　to　distinguish　the　useful　information　from　the　futile,　raising　their　awareness　of　quickly　establishing　links　between　problems　and　necessary　information,　have　turned　into　the　internal　requirements　to　ensure　their　all-around　development　and　self-realization　in　the　environment　of　informatization.　Based　on　the　models　of　student　apartments,　the　authors　analyze　the　influence　of　informatization　upon　the　student　community　and　puts　forward　that　community-based　education　is　inevitable　for　the　further　development　of　colleges　and　universities.　In　addition,　the　authors　make　tentative　discussions　on　the　strategies　of　education　informatization　in　the　student　community　in　the　environment　of　informatization.
