Abstract:

Membrane structure is a kind of structure for construction based on many emerging technologies, and this structure have been totally adopted in the design of National Aquatics Center (called "Water Cube") that is a new venue for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The construction of Water Cube and the success of membrane structure's adoption represent the highest level of technology on civil engineering in China. For diffusing the benefit of emerging technology on civil engineering, a roadmap of membrane structure should be constructed for identifying the roads of industrialization. The research on the technology roadmap of membrane structure is complex system engineering, due to the complexities and uncertainties of membrane structure. So a strategy for this project decides the production of the roadmap. The methods for constructing a technology roadmap mainly include the obtaining of experts' opinions based on Delphi and the analysis of experts' opinions based on AHP, and then compile it according to the data analyzed. http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=4422137
