Abstract:

According to the problems in evaluation of regional foundation subsidence in soft soil area, a coupling model with a few parameters was proposed in this paper. The valuation model was based on conditional generalized minimum variance method and blind number theory. Firstly, the most influential factors were selected by conditional generalized minimum variance method. Secondly, the mathematical relation between key factors and seismic depression was fitted through completely quadratic regression method. Finally, regional foundation settlement was given on the basis of the possible values and faith degree of seismic depression which were calculated by blind number theory. Actual samples were evaluated in order to verify the applicability and accuracy of the coupled model and excellent results were obtained. The model in this paper provided a new method for evaluating the regional foundation seismic subsidence. © 2014 ejge.
