Abstract:

In the condition of room temperature 14.2~23.9°C, ANAMMOX bacteria granule sludge is inoculated to the biofilter, which is filled with lava as carrier. In the inlet sewage of initial stages, ρ(NH4+-N)=70 mg/L, ρ(NO2--N)=90 mg/L, the removal load of TN is 0.12 kg/(m3·d). After 105 days, the removal load of TN increases to 2.22 kg/(m3·d). The quick start-up of ANAMMOX biofilter was realized successfully. In the start-up process, according to the change of N2 yield, apparent color of biofilm, nitrogen removal velocity and pH value, the whole start-up process can be divided into two phases including domestication and quick multiplication of ANAMMOX bacteria.
