Abstract:

In this paper, a tracking system with space virtual feedback (SVF) is presented. The whole tracking system is closed by the space virtual feedback line that is the line of sight (LOS), but the parts in the system, such as the tracking subsystem and the servo subsystem, are in the state of open-loop. Because the SVF tracking model is used, the correcting loops can be removed in this system architecture. So the tracking speed and accuracy of the system are greatly improved. © 2008 Editorial Board of Control Theory and Applications, South China University of Technology and Springer-Verlag GmbH.
