Abstract:
The effect of B4C content on microstructures, hardness and wear resistance under multi-stress were researched respectively. The results indicated that the primary carbides grew directionally and the macrohardness of hardfacing layer was increased with the increment of B4C content. The wear resistance of hardfacing alloys presented different characteristics under different stress. When a few primary carbides had broken off, its wear resistance was better than those of hardfacing alloys which lot of primary carbides broke off.
