Abstract:

In Olympic Games, lots of pedestrians will gather in and near the field, the venues and public traffic facilities, being crowded and congested, when spectators aggregate before game and evacuate after game. Thus the relational path, which is the ligament between the transit and metro stations and the venues, would load the huge pedestrian traffic. In the bottleneck of the path, it easily brings hidden trouble. In this article, based on the knowledge of the regulation of spectators' arrival and leaving, opportunity model is built and pedestrian traffic distribution characters are analyzed in Olympic Park region, according to the 9th day schedule. The result will be the bedrock for establishing operation and emergency blue print in advance.
