Abstract:

Traffic signal control system consists of different control equipments from different manufacturers and different platforms of control software. The basic requirement of data-interchange is quick, exact, integrated and safe during transmission. It is difficult to use and share data among different control units because of different communication interface standard. We should build a uniform structured language to organize data. The paper discusses the traffic control system based on CORBA and XML, and then puts forward the distributed frame of traffic control system and markup language-SignalML for opened signal control data-interchange. An effective method to solve the problems of multi-frame platform and data exchange is put out.
