Abstract:

Considering the effect of the spherical aberration, a coupling system used in the LD end-pumped KERR-lens mode-locked system has been analyzed in detail. The relationships between the mirrors' parameters and the light spot width have been calculated. At last, a practical and effective coupling system is designed, which is special for the Self-mode-locked system of 46.9 μm × 45.1 μm.
