Abstract:

High pulse-energy Yb-doped all-fiber dual-cavity laser with large core-diameter fiber-based passive Q-switch is demonstrated. The monolithic fiber oscillator can generate stable pulses with peak power of 3.4 kW and single pulse energy of 484 μJ. © OSA 2014.
