Abstract:

In this paper, vertical compressive property and horizontal shear property test and relation of horizontal property parameters (including equivalent stiffness, yield strength, post-yield stiffness and equivalent damping) and horizontal shear strain & vertical compressive stress, especially multi-directional shear-compression state tests of square multi-lead rubber bearing are accomplished. The laws of horizontal properties parameters of this rubber isolator in different directions are obtained. The vertical and horizontal property of square multi-lead rubber isolators are stable under bidirectional horizontal simultaneous effect. This isolator is a good seismic isolation device for bridge.
