Abstract :
Two-dimensional nanosheets are considered promising materials for membranes. However, the excessively long interlayer channels parallel to the membrane surface are not conducive to molecular transport. Creating defects on the nanosheets is an effective method to shorten the transport distance in the membrane. This study involved exfoliating and etching several commonly used layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets using an alkali solution in a single step. This process resulted in porous oligolayered nanosheets modified layered double hydroxide (MgAl-MLDH) with an average pore size of approximately 18 +/- 2 nm and a thickness of around 8 nm. These ultrathin porous MgAl-MLDH nanosheets were used to create a composite membrane using a vacuumassisted filtration method. The structure of the MgAl-MLDH membrane was optimized by adjusting the etching conditions. The water flux of MgAl-MLDH membrane in Eriochrome black T aqueous solution was 530 L/ m2 h MPa. Compared with the non-etched LDH membrane (179 L/m2 h MPa), the permeance of MLDH membrane was increased by 2 to 3 times, while the rejection rate remained at approximately 99 %. Furthermore, due to the excellent strength of LDH, the membrane exhibited good stability in both structure and separation performance.

Abstract :
The separation of aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbon mixtures is crucial in the petrochemical industry. Pervaporation is regarded as a promising approach for the separation of aromatic compounds from alkanes. Developing membrane materials with efficient separation performance is still the main task since the membrane should provide chemical stability, high permeation flux, and selectivity. In this study, the hyperbranched polymer (HBP) was deposited on the outer surface of a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane by a facile dip-coating method. The dip-coating rate, HBP concentration, and thermal cross-linking temperature were regulated to optimize the membrane structure. The obtained HBP/PVDF hollow-fiber-composite membrane had a good separation performance for aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbon mixtures. For the 50%/50% (mass) toluene/n-heptane mixture, the permeation flux of optimized composite membranes could reach 1766 g center dot m-2 center dot h-1, with a separation factor of 4.1 at 60 degrees C. Therefore, the HBP/PVDF hollow-fiber-composite membrane has great application prospects in the pervaporation separation of aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbon mixtures. Abstract :
一种具有取向性的单颗粒层MOF复合膜及制备方法,属于膜制备技术领域,首先利用调制剂合成具有规则形貌且粒径均一的MOF晶体颗粒,然后将其配制为MOF分散液;使用旋涂法将MOF分散液涂覆于多孔基底的表面后干燥一定时间得到具有取向性的单颗粒MOF层。然后将一定浓度的聚合物溶液通过旋涂法涂覆于膜表面以填充单颗粒MOF晶体的间隙。最后通过热交联得到单颗粒层取向MOF复合膜,该方法可以有效构建具有贯通孔道结构的新型MOF复合膜,并且所得到的膜可用于有机溶剂混合物等高耗能、难分离体系的高效分离。

Abstract :
一种用于优先透醇的聚合物/MOF衍生物复合膜的制备方法,属于复合材料和渗透汽化技术领域。将具有适宜粘度的含硅聚合物旋涂在MOF衍生物膜上表面和缝隙处,然后经真空干燥后制得聚合物/MOF衍生物复合膜。其中MOF衍生物膜是通过原位生长以及随后采用硫代乙酰胺(TAA)进行原位硫化两步法所制备。本发明制备方法简单可控,所制备的聚合物/MOF衍生物复合膜具有超薄的厚度,并有效防止聚合物孔渗,此外基于MOF衍生物中超快的渗透路径,在60℃分离5wt.%乙醇‑水溶液时,复合膜表现出超高的渗透汽化性能和稳定性,有效改善了分离膜领域此消彼长trade‑off的瓶颈问题。

Abstract :
Pervaporation is considered to have great potential for application in the field of organic-solvent dehydration. In this study, a type of keto-enamine-linked covalent organic framework TpPa (synthesized using the Schiff-base reaction of 1,3,5-triformylphloroglucinol [Tp] with p-phenylenediamine [Pa]), was fabricated on commercial polyacrylonitrile (PAN) ultrafiltration membranes through an oxygen-plasma assisted contra-diffusion self-assembly strategy for organic-solvent dehydration. The PAN membranes with a glycerol exhibited a better separation factor for dehydration of organic solvents than those without a glycerol layer. The influence of oxygen plasma and glycerol on the formation of the TpPa membrane was investigated. The best plasma treatment condition and optimum glycerol impregnation concentration were determined as a device power of 60 W and 30 wt%, respectively. Defect-free TpPa membrane formation took only 24 h. The as-prepared TpPa membrane exhibited a separation factor of 1491 and a high permeation flux of 2530 g m(-2) h(-1) for a 90 wt% isopropanol-water mixture. The separation performance of the TpPa membrane was stable for >100 h, exhibiting great potential in organic-solvent dehydration.

Abstract :
Zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) membranes have great potential applications in nanofiltration. However, preparing continuous and intact ZIF membranes on the surface of a substrate remains challenging. In this study, we assembled ZIF-8 nanoparticles in situ in the pores of a porous alumina substrate via a freezing-assisted counter-diffusion method. Although a continuous ZIF-8 membrane was not formed on the surface of the sub-strate, the obtained nano-confined composite membrane was dense enough to separate antibiotics and salt. The rejection rate of tetracycline was above 99 %, while that of sodium chloride was below 20 %, demonstrating good antibiotic desalination performance. The permeance of the ZIF-8 membrane reached 23.5 LMH/bar. Due to the nano-confined structure, the obtained ZIF-8 composite membrane was robust. Besides, polishing the surface layer did not reduce the separation performance. Moreover, sulfurizing the ZIF-8 membrane improved its sta-bility in water. It also improved the permeance to 31.3 LMH/bar, which remained stable for 100 h. Therefore, the obtained robust ZIF-8 membrane and its derivative composite membrane fabricated via freezing-assisted counter-diffusion have great potential in antibiotic desalination.

Abstract :
Pervaporation has been considered a promising technique in seawater desalination. Developing new and efficient pervaporation membrane material remains the main challenge. In this study, the layered double hydroxides (LDH) nanosheet array composite membranes were prepared on a commercial polyacrylonitrile ultrafiltration membrane through the hydrothermal method. The structure and morphology of the LDH array was regulated by the hydrolysis of the substrate and the hydrothermal conditions. The obtained LDH composite membrane had a good pervaporation desalination performance due to its unique water molecular transport channel and high hydrophilicity. When the salt concentration in the feed solution increased from 3 to 10 wt%, the rejection of the composite membrane could maintain at 99.8 %. The real seawater was also used to evaluate the membrane. The results indicated the LDH composite membrane had a good desalination performance in a relatively wide range. Moreover, the LDH composite membrane exhibited excellent flexibility and stability. We anticipated that the membrane may have great potential in pervaporation desalination.

Abstract :
As an important resource, lithium is abundant in Salt Lake. The high Mg2+/Li+ ratio is the main obstacle to lithium extraction. Positively-charged nanofiltration membrane has shown great potential in the separation of Mg2+/Li+. Herein, we report a facile method to construct positively-charged nanofiltration membrane by polyethyleneimine (PEI) and layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets on hydrolyzed polyacrylonitrile ultrafiltration membrane. Subsequently, the PEI-LDH composite membrane was crosslinked with glutaraldehyde (GA) to improve its stability. The incorporation of LDH could improve the positive charge of the membrane. Then, the obtained PEI-LDH/GA membrane showed an enhanced separation performance for separating Mg2+/Li+ in an aqueous solution. When the Mg2+/Li+ ratio was 10, the membrane showed a separation factor (SMg2+/Li+) of 18.7. Moreover, the membrane could maintain the separation performance for 100 h, which exhibited a potential application in Mg2+/Li+ separation.

一种用于镁锂分离的层状双金属氢氧化物纳滤膜制备方法,属于膜分离脱盐领域。其主要步骤包括:基膜预处理,去除膜表面杂质、微生物等;将LDH与成膜单体1混合均匀,再与单体2反应成膜。本发明所制备的纳滤膜应用于镁锂分离体系,具有较高的分离选择性和优异的稳定性,并可以调控不同种类的LDH以及成膜单体制备其它应用体系的分离膜。用于水溶液中镁锂的纳滤分离。

Abstract :
一种等离子体辅助制备有机框架渗透汽化膜的方法,属于膜制备技术领域。包括以下步骤,使用等离子体对表面含有丙三醇的多孔基底进行处理;随后将基底密封于自制扩散装置的中,将配置好的有机相和水相分别倒入基底两侧;置于室温反应;使用溶剂对复合膜进行冲洗,在鼓风烘箱中干燥得到有机框架复合膜。本发明通过使用等离子体处理基底的方式,缩短了有机框架的制备时间。通过改变有机相中添加醇的种类,调控了COFs在装置中的成膜位置。所述的复合膜可用于有机溶剂中少量水的去除,具有良好的选择渗透性。具有制备工艺简单,能耗低等优势。
