摘要 ：

The idea of applying integer Reversible Colour Transform to increase compression ratios in lossless image compression is a well-established and widely used practice. Although various colour transformations have been introduced and investigated in the past two decades, the process of determining the best colour scheme in a reasonable time remains an open challenge. For instance, the overhead time (i.e. to determine a suitable colour transformation) of the traditional colour selector mechanism can take up to 50% of the actual compression time. To avoid such high overhead, usually, one pre-specified transformation is applied regardless of the nature of the image and/or correlation of the colour components. We propose a robust selection mechanism capable of reducing the overhead time to 20% of the actual compression time. It is postulated that implementing the proposed selection mechanism within the actual compression scheme such as JPEG-LS can further reduce the overhead time to 10%. In addition, the proposed scheme can also be extended to facilitate network-based compression-decompression mechanism over distributed systems.

Using the spatial and spectral correlation within the hyperspectral images, a lossless compression algorithm is presented. Band grouping is used to divide images into different groups. Different hybrid integer transform based on spatial/spectral correlation is taken for each group and to achieve progressive bit-stream, coefficients are reorganized to obtain the same structure as wavelet transformation. Transformation coefficients are then coded by bit-plane-based 3D-SPIHT coding algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed method can remove the spatial and spectral redundancy more efficiently than JPEG-LS, JPEG2000 and the algorithms based on integer 3D-DCT or 3D-DWT. With band grouping and progressive bit-stream, the proposed method can achieve better error resilient performance.

利用高光谱图像空间、谱间相关性不同的特点,本文提出了一种基于混合整型变换和三维分层树集合划分算法(3D-SPIHT)的高光谱图像无损压缩方法,首先将波段进行分组,针对每一分组,采用不同的整型变换技术去相关,然后对变换系数进行系数重组,采用高效的基于小波系数特点的3D-SPIHT编码方法得到嵌入式码流,具有一定的抗误码性能.实验结果表明,该方法能够有效的去除高光谱图像的空间和谱间相关性,与现有的国际标准JPEG-LS、JPEG2000和基于三维离散余弦变换(3D-DCT)或三维离散小波变换(3D-DWT)的编码方法相比,压缩后的平均比特率均有明显降低.

高光谱遥感技术是当前遥感领域的前沿技术之一,由于高光谱图像的数据量巨大,因此对其进行压缩具有十分重要的意义.基于TI公司的TMS320DM642高性能DSP芯片,采用JPEG-LS压缩算法实现了高光谱图像的无损压缩,并针对DSP硬件特点对算法进行了深入优化,使其达到了较高的压缩速度,从而为高光谱图像无损压缩技术在遥感平台上的实时性应用提供了可能.实验结果表明,优化后的运行效率平均提高了20倍以上,且与通用计算机相比也有明显的优势.

由于遥感图像的数据量非常庞大,给有限的存储空间和传输带宽带来很大的压力,同时,由于高光谱图像获取代价昂贵,具有广泛的应用领域,且压缩时一般不能丢失任何信息,即要求无损压缩,因此没有有效的压缩方法,高光谱图像的普及应用将受到极大的限制.网格编码量化(TCQ)借鉴了网格编码调制(TCM)中信号集合扩展、信号集合划分和网格状态转移的思想,其虽具有良好的均方误差(MSE)性能,而且计算复杂度适中,但目前TCQ主要被应用于图像的有损压缩,为了对高光谱图像进行有效的无损压缩,通过将TCQ引入高光谱图像的无损压缩,并根据高光谱图像的特点,提出了一种基于小波变换和TCQ的高光谱图像无损压缩方法.实验结果表明,与JPEG2000和JPEG-LS中无损压缩算法相比,该算法对高光谱图像具有更好的压缩性能.

Using the significant spectral correlation within the hyperspectral images, we present a lossless compression algorithm in this paper. By means of hand ordering according to spectral correlation coefficient and 2D/3D hybrid predicton, which are based on local texture and neural networks, hyperspectral data are decorrelated. The prediction residuals are then entropy coded by context-based Golomb coding. Experimental results show that this method can remove the spatial and spectral redundancy efficiently and outperforms JPEG-LS and 3D-APA on average bit rate obviously.

利用高光谱图像具有较强谱问相关性的特点,本文提出了一种基于2D/3D混合自适应预测的高光谱图像无损压缩方法,首先根据相关系数计算波段预测顺序,通过局部纹理分析进行二维空间预测,采用基于神经网络模型的自适应预测方法进行三维预测,然后利用预测波段与当前波段间邻域块的相关性对二维预测和三维预测的结果进行校正,对预测残差采用基于上下文模型的Golomb编码.实验结果表明,应用于四种不同遥感器所获取的图像,该方法都能够有效的去除高光谱图像的空间和谱间相关性,与无损压缩国际标准JPEG-LS和3D-APA算法相比,压缩后的平均比特率均有明显降低.
