A Review of Fault Diagnosis for Rotating Shell-feeding Mechanical Device Based on Mechanical Vibration
Translated Abstract
Rotating shell-feeding mechanical device of the rapid artillery system works with high speed launch system synchronously, timely identification of its frequent failure and early warning of its catastrophic shoot-stopping failure is the key to guarantee the safe operation of and suppress fault deterioration. It is significant to promote the mechanical equipment from regular maintenance and ex post maintenance to condition-based maintenance. In this paper, the fault diagnosis of rotating shell-feeding mechanical device is reviewed in terms of fusion mechanical vibration mechanism and mechanical vibration data. Related research progress, application and limitation of three different levels of this topic, i.e., frequent fault identification, catastrophic failure warning, and vibration mechanism analysis and fault feature extraction of rotating mechanical devices, are introduced. Finally, the difficulty of the fault diagnosis of the rotating shell-feeding mechanical device is analyzed, and four difficult and hot research problems relative to mechanical fault diagnosis, such as the numerical simulation of rotating shell-feeding mechanical device, multi-domain and multi-scale fault feature extraction of mechanical vibration signal, fusion recognition of frequent fault diagnosis based on selective ensemble algorithm, and early warning of catastrophic shoot-stopping failure, are prospected.
