Finite Element Simulation Analysis of Stator of Opposed Biconinal Cone Screw Seawater Hydraulic Pump

The stator is a key element to decide its life and efficiency. In order to study the deformation and stress on non-uni-form thickness stator of the new-type opposed biconical cone screw seawater hydraulic pump,which was under internal pressure,the a-nalysis model was established for the stator. The stress state and deformation regularity of the opposed biconical cone screw seawater hy-draulic pump stator were obtained by finite element analyzing software ANSYS-Workbench under internal pressure. The deformation principle of an inner contour line of the rubber was studied primarily and curves of the inner contour line normal and tangential dis-placement versus pressure were described. An analysis of non-uniform thickness at different sections of the stator stress state and de-formation was made. The regularity can be applied to optimize the design of the new-type seawater hydraulic pump and improve its working efficiency.
