The　concepts　of　essential　solutions　and　essential　solution　sets　for　parametric　vector　optimization　problems　are　introduced,　and　the　relations　among　the　concepts　of　essential　solutions,　essential　solution　sets　and　lower　semicontinuity　of　solution　mappings　are　discussed.　The　characterization　of　essential　solutions　is　presented,　and　some　sufficient　conditions　for　closedness　of　solution　mappings　are　obtained.　Finally,　some　corollaries　of　the　main　results　are　given　as　applications　for　some　special　optimization　models.
