From the perspectives oi proIessmnal quality training and development of young editors, the authors analyze the current situation experienced by young editors of sci-tech journals and propose four basic points of view in cultivating young editor＇s professional qualities. Finally, three strategic proposals are presented for young editor＇s vocational development in mechanism construction.
