摘要:
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach has been widely used in multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM). The most critical step of AHP is the construction of comparison matrix (CM) with pairwise comparison method. Mostly, CM is not consistent as required. This study analyzes the consistency of CM and proposes a new way to revise/reconstruct CM by using Transitive Comparison Method (TCM). The strengths of TCM in improving consistency are confirmed by MATLAB simulation. A case study is presented to illustrate the performance of TCM when applied to risk identification in pit collapse. The application results show that TCM is superior to AHP in terms of CMs consistency, correcting information extraction.
