Parameter analysis of isolation bearing in a single-layer spherical lattice shell

A 3-dimensional seismic isolation bearing (3DSIB) was introduced first. In order to promote its practical application, parameter analysis was studied by applying it in a single-layer spherical lattice shell. Forty kinds of bearings were designed according to the seismic isolation targets. Time history analysis was performed to the structure. By changing the intensity of earthquake motion, the influence of horizontal and vertical stiffness of 3DSIB on periods, member axial force and nodal acceleration was analyzed comprehensively. The variation rules of seismic responses under different conditions were summarized. The results would provide references for parameter selecting of the bearing in lattice shells.
