We first construct algebra automorphisms T-i (1 ＜= i ＜= r) of Z(2)-graded Hopf algebra U-q(osp(1 vertical bar 2r)), which are called Lusztig＇s symmetries. It is shown that they satisfy braid group relations. The algebraic automorphisms of U-q(osp(1 vertical bar 2r)) are also described.
