A Wronskian form expansion method is proposed to construct novel composite function solutions to the modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation. The method takes advantage of the forms and structures of Wronskian solutions to the mKdV equation, and Wronskian entries do not satisfy linear partial differential equations.
