In　this　paper,　we　shall　first　introduce　the　definitions　of　modified　D-P　metrics　for　fuzzy　set-valued　random　variables　so　that　the　related　spaces　of　fuzzy　set-valued　random　variables　are　complete.　By　using　a　modified　DP　metric,　we　shall　define　the　variance　and　covariance　of　fuzzy　set-valued　random　variables　and　show　their　application　in　statistical　estimation.
