Elastic-Plastic Seismic Response Analysis of Lattice Shells
Translated Abstract
A theoretical study is presented on elastic-plastic seismicperformance of lattice shells.Using a nonlinear computer program, the seismic response analysis of a double-layer cylindrical lattice shell is carried out. A detailed analysis is performed to investigate the elastic-plastic performance of the shell under strong ground motions. The elastic-plastic behaviors for displacements of nodes and stresses of members of the structure are discussed. Some suggestions are given for guiding the design of lattice shell in seismic regions.
