Translated Abstract
It was made,in this paper,that the analyses on the microstructures and the properties of some welding joints of 6000 series Al alloys welded by slab CO2 laser and with powder filler material.When the butt joint without any gap was adopted,the results from the tensile strength test of the joints showed that the strength value of the butt-welding joint without powder was obviously lower than that of the joint with powder.However,the yield phenomena were not happened in the weld seam but the part of base metal.In the case with powder,both of yield and fracture were happened in the part of base metal.In the butt-welding process with different gaps and powder filler of AlSi12,the width of the biggest gap having the value of the tensile strength,which was over that of base metal,was up to 0.5mm.The bend angle of the welding joint at room temperature was up to 180° and it''s hardness was similar with that of the substrate.The microstructure of the weld was the compound which consist of the α-Al and eutectic of Al+Si.There was the pure Si which deposited from the crystal process of liquid metal at it.When a lower welding speed was carried out,the cracking was occurred along the fusion line of the welding seam and it''s fracture features were also observed.
