Let　Gamma　be　a　quiver　containing　finite　cyclic　blocks　and　Pi(lambda)　(Gamma)　be　the　deformed　preprojective　algebra　of　Gamma.　It　is　proved　that　a　suitable　quotient　u(q)　of　Pi(lambda)　(Gamma)　for　an　appropriate　vector　lambda　is　a　finite-dimensional　quantum　group.　Some　properties　of　u(q)　are　also　obtained.　An　isomorphism　as　Hopf　algebras　is　given　between　u(q)　and　a　restricted　quantum　group　U-q　(sl(2)).　(C)　2004　Elsevier　Inc.　All　rights　reserved.
