With the emerging of the rail transit and synthesis, they have been becoming the focus of the public.The phenomenon that the two lack of integration hinds the mutual development and reduces their ability to solve the problem of the metropolis.This paper research the space connecting the rail transit station and the surrounding buildings, in the view of urban design.At the end, the paper summarizes the control elements of the connecting space and the strategies to optimize the current space system.
