Study on the properties of 17-4PH stainless steel corrosion under different treatment conditions

Stainless steel is corrosion resistant metal materials selected most often take water hydraulic components,enhanced and the wear resistance of stainless steel without loss of its corrosion resistance is an effective way to improve the reliability of key water hydraulic components of the friction pair.In this paper,using CS electrochemical experiment station by potentiostatic anodic polarization,on the QPQ surface modification and strengthening,solid solution of 17-4PH Maraging etc.under different treatment conditions of electrochemical corrosion test of precipitation hardening stainless steel samples,compared to modified,strengthening on the surface of QPQ solid solution and aging in different treatment process,and the influence of freshwater and seawater different corrosion precipitation hardening stainless steel electrochemical corrosion properties of 17-4PH martensite.Research shows that: after solid solution and aging treatment of stainless steel corrosion resistance is basically not much change,and then through the stainless steel corrosion resistance of QPQ treated was reduced 100 times.
