Evaluating method of mesh stiffness of a planetary gear in condition of single tooth defect

According to NGW21 planetary gear reducer, this paper studies the time-varying mesh stiffness of the planetary gear set under the condition of internal gear is fixed.Firstly, the calculation model of the stiffness of the normal gear mesh is established using energy method;The stiffness distribution of a pair of gear mesh is computed direct to the sun gear includes crack.Secondly,the mesh phasing relations between the planet gears and the kinetic characteristic of the planetary gear set are inverstigatated by simplified model of the planetary gear system.And then,considering the characteristic of sun gear and planet gear meshing at the same time,calculate the sun gear with each planet gear''s mesh stiffness and the total stifness based on meshing phasing relationship,and discuss the influence of stiffness in the different faults of the sun gear case when sun gear with each planet gear meshing.
