Researching stress condition of the tape spring in the bending process for preventing the plastic deformation and avoiding the phenomenon of stress concentration.The Finite element software Abaqus was used to research the effect of the length,thickness,angle,radius of cross section of the tape spring on the maximum stress and the phenomenon of stress concentration of the forward and reverse bending.The maximum bending stress and the phenomenon of stress concentration could be controled effectively by change the size of the length,thickness,angle,radius of cross section of the tape spring.The research can be used to improve the self driving ability of the space deployable structures.
