Static stability analysis of single-layer latticed shells considering damage accumulation effect

To address the issue about dynamical instability of single-layer latticed shells under earthquake excitation, from damage cumulative effect of steel material, the constructive relationship between strain and damage is set up.At first doing nonlinear buckling analysis with arc-length method to track load-displacement curves, we analysis dynamic stability of a K8 type single-layer latticed shell under earthquake excitation considering damage accumulation effect after finishing static stability analysis and optimized analysis.Then the criterion for dynamic stability by means of B-R kinetic criterion in combination with plastic strain energy density is put forward.And Finally some conclusions are obtained that the criterion can judge critical load value and dynamic stability have a serious influence on static stability after considering damage accumulation effect, which can be rules for engineering repair and estimate seismic capacity.
