摘要:

TiO2-CdS-rGO ternary nanocomposite was prepared hydrothermally. Anatase phase TiO2 was confirmed by XRD analysis. Spherical CdS nanoparticles are present uniformly on anatase TiO2 and rGO sheets. TiO2 CdS-rGO nanocomposite has extended visible absorption than TiO2-CdS and TiO2. Band gap of TiO2 is reduced by CdS and rGO from 3.2 to 2.4 eV. Photodegradation efficiency of TiO2-CdS-rGO is very high as revealed by 96.4% methylene blue decomposition in 50 min. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
