摘要:
Although many studies have been made on numerical simulation of active control of building vibrations, in a few investigations, experimental research on active control are conducted and the control objects are low-rise and small scale models. In this paper, Shaking table tests of a 1/8 scale model of twelve-story steel frame with an active mass damper were conducted on the basis of simulation analysis. Fuzzy logic algorithm and H-infinity static output feedback algorithm were adopted and the control effects were compared. The results showed that both controllers, using the measured output from a limited number of sensors installed at strategic locations of the structure, were effective in reducing the response of model structure under seismic excitation. Compared to static output feedback controllers, the control effect of fuzzy controllers was much better. Moreover, modified fuzzy control system considering the contibution of multiple inputs showed great performance. This study can provide a necessary foundation for practical implementations of control system to civil engineering structures.
