Abstract:
In this paper, a new fabrication method of barium-calcium aluminate impregnated cathodes is reported Barium-calcium aluminates were fabricated by one-pot hydrothermal reaction. The sintering temperature of the material is lower than the conventional method about 100 degrees C and the impregnation temperature is decreased about 50 degrees C. The pulsed emission current density of this cathode could reach 12.64A/cm(2) at 1100 degrees C-b which was equal with the conventional impregnated Ba-W cathode.
