Abstract:
Compressive strength is one of the factors affecting the permeability of concrete. Almost all of the concrete had contained supplementary cementing materials, which caused in the effect of strength on permeability of concrete to be more complex. In this paper, different strength of concrete are prepared based on different water-cement ratio, the different types and content of supplementary cementing materials, and electric flux and chloride ion diffusion coefficient of different strength of concrete are tested. Experimental results show that besides of strength of concrete, the permeability of the concrete are related with content of supplementary cementing materials, while the permeability is not related with types of supplementary cementing materials. The results of this study can provide some referenced guidance for concrete durability design.
