Abstract:
HFC32, of which ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero and global warming potential (GWP) is 675, could be an acceptable working fluid for heat pump to replace HFCs. In order to investigate the heating performance of quasi-two stage compression HFC32 heat pump system (QTSC system), an experimental setup was established. The results showed that the discharge temperature of the QTSC system was 10 similar to 20 K lower than the single stage compression system (SING system), not exceeding the limit of 130 degrees C, and the heat pump can steadily run for long time under condensing temperature of 40 degrees C, evaporating temperature varying from -10 to -5 degrees C. The heating capacity of the QTSC system with HFC32 is 12 % higher than SING system, and the heating COP depending on the intermediate vapor pressure is higher or lower than SING system.
