二年多来，我们在设计双安商场经营与管理信息系统的同时，对一些中大型零售企业的经营活动进行调查研究，提出了一套零售业经营规范化模式，并推出了系列化的经营管理软件。我们体会到，对于商场管理信息系统的开发，关键是分布数据库的设计。在这里，我们就大型商场管理信息系统的分布数据库设计的有关问题，与读者探讨。
