Abstract:
Based on experiments of five moment-resisting beam-column connections under cyclic loading, this paper investigate the failure pattern, hysteresis loop curves, displacement-restoring capacity, displacement ductility and dissipation energy capability of the precast-prestressed beam-to-column concrete connections with unbonded tendons. and the studied results show that the damaged degree of the precast-prestressed beam-to-column concrete connections with unbonded tendons is less than that of the conventional cast-in-place concrete connections when both of them are in the same displacement. It is confirmed that the performance is equal or superior to that of a conventional connection in terms of ductility and displacement-restoring capacity.
