The　scale　of　a　logistics　center　is　an　important　problem　in　the　process　of　physical　distribution　system　planning.　This　paper　proposes　an　article　demand　model　and　an　article　supply　model　for　a　logistics　center.　Based　upon　the　hypothesis　of　the　supply-and-demand　equilibrium,　a　forecasting　model　of　the　scale　of　a　logistics　center　is　presented.　Then,　properties　of　the　model　are　discussed　using　a　case　study.
