Abstract:
Taken complex adaptive system (CAS) theory into cluster innovation research, this investigation focuses on the agents of industrial cluster innovation network (ICIN). And it uses network structure variables and agents' behavior to study the relationship between ICIN and its innovation capacity based on CAS's echo model and the reverse simulation method. After summarized the CAS simulation research's framework and process, this investigation builds the structure of ICIN influencing innovation capacity simulation model by analyzing the interaction between environment, agents, resource and knowledge. Through CAS multi-agent simulation method combining with the case of Zhongguancun cluster innovation network, the results show that innovation agents in order to adapt to the environment to adjust their behavior constantly, generate interaction, and change the innovation mechanisms, that influence the innovation capacity. Moreover, under some structural qualification, innovative capacity could be enhanced with the ICIN structure's variables of mean minimal path length decreasing, aggregation coefficient increasing and degree distribution increasing.
