The present invention discloses a Si/Cu composite electrode with a porous structure for a lithium ion battery and a manufacturing method therefor. The composite electrode comprises active material, bulky porous Cu, and a current collector. The active material Si is embedded in the bulky porous Cu, and the bulky porous Cu is metallurgically combined with the current collector, acting as both a binder and a conductive agent, alleviating pulverization and shedding of the active Si particles and improving electron transport efficiency. Moreover, the porous structure increases the contact area between the active Si and an electrolyte, increasing the reaction efficiency of lithium intercalation. The manufacturing method for the composite electrode is as follows : firstly, powder metallurgy and diffusion welding technologies are adopted to prepare a Si-Cu-Al precursor alloy on a Cu current collector by using Si, Cu, and Al powders as raw materials, and then removing the Al element in the Si-Cu-Al precursor alloy by utilizing a chemical dealloying method, so as to obtain a Si/Cu composite electrode with a porous structure.
