摘要:
We demonstrate a passive-feedback self-injection locking (SIL)single-frequency fiber laser. The frequency and intensity noise of a single-frequency distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) fiber laser are effectively reduced by use of a simple, passive-feedback self-injection locking (SIL) scheme, which consisted of only two optical couplers. The peak of relaxation oscillation is reduced by 20dB from -99.9dB/Hz @ 993 kHz to -119.4dB/Hz @ 192 kHz. This results in a linewidth compression from 3.96 kHz to 540 Hz. The optical signal-to-noise ratio(OSNR) is increased from 60dB to 70dB.After amplification to an output power of 10W at 1063 nm a linewidth well below 1 kHz and the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR)still 65dB are achieved.
