Abstract:

本发明涉及一种提高电光调制器带宽的电极结构,属于铌酸锂电光调制技术领域。为了解决电光调制器的相速失配问题,本发明在调制器芯片行波电极底部设计了一个镂空结构,可以不填充材料,也可以填充二氧化硅等低介电常数材料,经过计算能够有效降低微波等效折射率,大幅增大电光调制器的器件带宽,为提高铌酸锂电光调制器带宽提供了新的方法。
