In order to ensure the security and stability of soft subgrade, the observation of soft subgrade settlement must be conducted. Additionally the deformation for soft soil subgrade settlement should be studied further. then the roadbed settlement calculation and prediction methods could be perfected. Based on this, the reliability of calculation and accuracy of prediction for settlement could be finally improved. In this paper, the subgrade settlement data is measured based on a highway construction project. The hyperbolic model, Asaoka model, Weibull model, and Pearl model are utilized to predict the roadbed settlement of typically roadbed sections for different treatments. The errors of four models between the predict values and measured values are analyzed. The results show that the Asaoka model method correctly predict the subgrade settlement of engineering project, the predict values are suitable to the practical situation of engineering. © 2016 ejge.
