Abstract:

The solubility and the metastable zone of PET in 36% acetic acid solution were determined by dissolution balance method, then the growth test of PET crystal in acetic acid solution was down by slow-cooling method. The result shows the solubility of PET in acetic acid solution is bigger and the metastable zone is wider than these in water, and the crystal growth is easier. The XRD indicates that the crystal phase does not change, though the crystal growth morphology changes to a certain extent. ©, 2015, Chinese Ceramic Society. All right reserved.
