Abstract:

To reveal the heterogeneity of risk spillovers of new global energy listed companies at different time and frequency scales and to further explore the external impact of risk spillovers from new energy listed companies through the construction of a spillover index model and complex network, this paper studies the risk spillover effect of new energy listed companies from three aspects: static, geographical and dynamic. The TVP-VAR model is constructed to study the impact of economic policy uncertainty, climate policy uncertainty, geopolitical risk, El Nin similar to o, and international crude oil prices on new energy listed companies. The results show that new energy listed companies have a more significant long-term risk spillover relationship and regional heterogeneity. Total is a systemically important company. In contrast to the findings of existing studies, we find that climate policy uncertainty increases the risk spillover effect between new energy listed companies in both the short and long terms. In addition, new energy listed companies' response directions, intensities, and speeds of risk spillovers to various external shocks at different time points differ
