摘要:

Terahertz time-domain spectrum of PbWO4(PWO) crystal in the frequency range from 0.1 THz to 3 THz was measured at the room temperature. The results show that the absorption coefficient is less than 30 cm-1 as the frequency changed from 0.2 THz to 0.9 THz, indicating that the PWO crystal has a high transmission characteristic. A little overtone resonance is observed in the frequency range from 0.4 THz to 0.6 THz. The values of the refractive index are 2 to 6, and the refractive index exhibits anomalous dispersion in the frequency range from 0.36 THz to 0.9 THz. According to the relation of optical constants, dielectric function curve was obtained. The real part values of dielectric function is 4 to 38, and there is an obvious resonance peak in the real part of dielectric function curve in 0.36 THz. The imaginary part of dielectric function declines from 0.7 to 0.3 with frequency increasing. ©, 2015, Chinese Ceramic Society. All right reserved.
