Shot blasting and sand blasting are two very important steps in the process of metallic hull surface treatment.The roughness and micro-pit morphology of the treated metal surface directly affect the quality of subsequent painting,so it is necessary to measure the surface quality after shot blasting and sand blasting.Currently,the commonly used surface roughness measurement methods are stylus method,microscope head focusing method and copy tape method,etc.In order to improve the automation level of surface quality inspection,an automatic inspection system of metal surface treatment quality of ship hull based on laser structured light 3D vision is constructed.By the vision method,high-resolution surface height images are captured.The image pre-processing algorithm and roughness detection algorithm are approved,while the segmentation and statistics of micro-pits are realized with pre-processing and watershed algorithms for the evaluation of the metallic hull surface quality.
